The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled against a family complaining that the state barred the family from building on a lot that is adjacent to a lot that they have already built on. The family tried to argue that the government took their land without compensation and this violated their constitutional rights on the property that has been in their hands since the 1960’s. The court disagreed in a 5-3 decision.
